I really enjoyed this! I was not expecting the twists that happened either.

Also not gonna lie, I thought this was set in England for the longest time while reading. It gives British vibes but then they talked about the Olive Garden lol. Still, cute.

Only 4.5 stars because I felt like
Molly went from not being able to read anyone at all to being able to read everyone in about two minutes. And it was a tad predictable.

But would still recommend as it was an enjoyable read.

Nunca pensé que la protagonista de un murder mystery iba a darle un abrazo reconfortante a mi yo adolescente. Con algunas diferencias, pero menos de las que me gustaría...
Ha sido un viaje interesante. Gracias por tanto, Molly.

Molly the maid is neuro divergent. When a guest at the hotel she works at is found dead she becomes a person of interest.
I found this book infuriating in the beginning as nobody seems to acknowledge that the main character is neuro divergent even though it is painfully obvious.  As the story goes on I appreciated the writers choice in doing this to show how Molly endures this discrimination in her daily life.
The story is captivating and entertaining like an episode of Molly's favourite, 'Columbo'. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a difficult review to write as this book was simply okay. Initially I enjoyed our main character's unique, flawed, bullied, possibly neurodivergent mindstyle, but it quickly became repetitive. The mystery was generally predictable even when the main character omitted aspects of the narrative for suspense. The characters were two-dimensional; good or evil with little nuance. Nonetheless, this was an enjoyable and comfortable read with some exciting moments. The little victories for the main character I particularly enjoyed.
