There is a lot of controversy about this book online. I loved it, I found it to be intriguing and complicated. I do think there are details about certain characters that should have been expanded on. People are saying this takes place in our current time but I felt as though it was meant to take place 30-40 years ago. I have so many thoughts and opinions on this book, I can’t possibly put them all here. Like i said before this book is complicated!

I was so bored reading this. For it being a short book, I was expecting more. Everything important happens in about 50 pages and the rest seemed like fluff

Good book and characters but a little too wholesome for me. Read like it was set in the 50’s but clearly set in modern times because of references to texting and FaceTime.

One word I can think of describing this book is Quirky. Molly the Maid wants to do her job to the best of her ability, she reminds me of someone with high functioning autism. I don't know if that was the goal when writing this book, but I enjoyed it. A good easy read mystery

Solid, though unexciting. The main character's cluelessness can wear sometimes, as there is a Mr. Magoo feel periodically. I do love the constant Columbo references. The mystery itself is not complex and the ending relies on information that you do not get in the narrative.

The book has a lighthearted tone but actually there is some pretty dark stuff in there (including between Molly and her gran).

I read this because Stephen King had recommended it. Given the Holly Gibney character, you can see why.

This was a nice cozy murder mystery! I enjoyed this read and got through it really quickly with the audio.

The set up of Mollys character was really fun to see.
She is sooo sweet!! I really loved the vocabulary in this book and the way Molly spoke so proper.

It was a pretty slow pace (but because of Mollys sweet character I didn't mind one bit). I was a bit confused on the setting of the book (why so much British slang in NY??). Alsooo the murder mystery part wasn't too shocking but it was fun to piece everything together as we went along.

Overall, i enjoyed this but I won't be thinking about it long term sooo a solid 3 stars from me!!
