Pretty good all around. The arc with the woman in the prison being the gypsy girl mother was telegraphed too much. I liked the arc of the Quasimodo and his father. Also the opening bit was very funny to me, but then the to hue in cheek/biting humor disappears.

شروع كتاب خيلى سخت و غير قابل هضم بود و من همشو از چشم مترجم ميبينم . (جواد محيى)
دومين كتابى بود كه از ويكتور هوگو ميخوندم (بعد از مردى كه مى خندد) و داستان واقعن قشنگى بود اما ميون بعضى جرياناى فرعى و حرفاى قلمبه سلمبه جذابيتش كمرنگ شده بود . هرچند من مشكلى با ادبى بودن سبك داستان نداشتم و ندارم ولى دلم ميخواست اون مخوف بودن و جادوى داستان در حالت عادى بيشتر به چشم بياد تا خودم بخوام با تقلب و ناديده گرفتن يه سرى صفحه هاى كتاب تو ذهنم پررنگش كنم .
از غلط هاى املايى هم به بزرگى خودم چشم پوشى ميكنم ! 🙄😅 (اسم جواد محيى را در منطقه ى ممنوعه ذهنش حك ميكند!)

Was CRAWLINGGG my way through this and realized that it’s because I only want to read about Quasimodo and so much of this book is not that. (Should have known that would be the case, given that it’s Victor Hugo). I love the Disney movie and the stage musical, but the book is just not for me. So! On the DNF list it goes!
