A great funny book. Definitely one that is great for 3rd graders. I laughed aloud in a few places.

Andy and Terry write a book about writing the book. Metafiction for the grade school literati! Chock full of illustrations and humor of the Wimpy Kid/Captain Underpants variety. Gift for the nephew, Christmas 2016.

This was an actual ADHD nightmare.

I've been avoiding reading this series simply because the title of it sounds so stupid to me but I needed to find middle grade books to read and asked for funny ones and this series was recommended so I bought the whole thing (the first 9 books) and I'm glad I did.

This book is silly but I know kids will love it! There's words and pictures throughout the whole book and it's just an enjoyable read.

I recommend this book to kids who like reading funny books and anyone who enjoys reading. I loved it!

Have fun reading the whole series, which I'm sure is as great as the first book.

So cool :)

genre: wacky (fantasy/sci-fi)

summary: Andy & Terry are best friends, roommates, and the author/illustrator of this book. The book is about them living in their awesome treehouse trying to decide what book to write. This story eventually becomes the book (very-meta).

notes: Mostly illustrated but not quite a graphic novel. A good recommendation for reluctant readers.

for kids who like: Floors, Captain Underpants, Wimpy Kid

age group: age 7+

my review: kids will love...i get it but it's lost on me

How have I missed this book series for so long? So funny! Outrageous situations in the tree house are always solved/saved by Terry and Andy. I definate book to get kids reading!
