Well-rounded. Perfect example of "I can do it alone but having you with me makes it better." Love them individually, love them even more together. Sweet, sacrificing, and quiet love. Have so much I can say, I'm obsessed with this couple.

Very well developed and varied. Loved Jiang Brothers dynamic, XiChen and LanZhan and also XiChen and his sworn brothers, Wen Family, A'Yuan, and the whole Xue Yang arc. Chef kiss.
Plot - 4.75/5
Not a full conclusion happened in the end. Wei Ying did said something along how it didn't matter anymore, but it also kinda leaves some ties unfinished. Other than that, I love that Wei Ying from the start was said to have bad memories, then he gradually had a flashback on his memories which we also watched. The sequence of events in the book made perfect sense to me.
Emotional Factor - 5/5
I usually do not read fully heavy angst, but I loved this one so much. There was many sacrifices, not just limited to the protagonist. And what's more about it is that it wasn't overhyped or commemorated too much, some just simply passed and they move on. Also, the complexity of the characters made their feelings and how it impacted the plot so interesting.
