this was horrendous. literally NOTHING happens. it's just endless conversations of poppy "blushing" over casteel.

I thought the battle would at least be interesting. I was wrong. It was so predictable and just really bad writing. the scene of them in the carriage made me cringe.

There's literally no character development. They never get to know each other. Casteel continuosly ignores Poppy's wishes when she's uncomfortable and it's gross. They got married and they've literally never said I love you.
