To me, the humour of this is like that of a guy fresh out of college trying to find his way in the world but is kinda going the wrong way about it. Some of it is funny, other bits make you facepalm and/or cringe. Not to mention a lot of it felt like filler, or like it was handed to the editor and they thought "yeah, fuck it, this will do." And as someone else has stated, people keep saying this book is for cat lovers but I'd actually say it's for people who perhaps don't like cats; people who think cats are assholes out to inconvenience them. So yeah, if you like cats or own a cat who you think is the sweetest, most precious being on earth I wouldn't really recommend this book to you.
The Oatmeal/Matthew Inman is (was?) one of my favourite comic artists, but this has kind of made me see him in a different light. And maybe that's just it, maybe as a fan I know what he's capable of in terms of quality and this book just didn't hit that level. So I won't be picking up another book by him, but I will continue to read his comics online.

I truly don’t have much to say about this collection of comics that won’t spoil the individual jokes. If you’re interested in a (mostly) satirical collection of comics about cats and their nefarious was, I’d recommend you check this book out. It’s a cute and quick read and gives the reader exactly what it promises.
