This book is perfect for cat lovers, especially if you have a dark sense of humor lol The drawings are adorable and the information is 100% accurate.

The only complaint I have is that the text is really small - at least the digital ebook version is. I had to squint and get super close to my screen to read it and it made my headache worse.

Not for me. Mildly funny, not as much as I remember from the online stuff of his. Didn't love the carelessness of some of the "jokes".

While I read this book, three different cats vied for my attention, valiantly trying to keep me from reading the text. Inman may be on to something...

it was okay. I smiled a few times because I could relate as a cat owner, but that was the extent of the comedy.

I'm a big fan of The Oatmeal, and as a new cat owner I found this book hilarious... And true. Excellent book.

In my opinion, the type of humour that ages worse than any other is pop culture references, and the subset of that is something I am coining as leximemetic humour:  A form of humour that derives its comedic effect from the use of contemporary, meme-driven words and phrases rather than from other comedic structures such as wit, irony, or narrative. While the speed of evolution of leximemetic humour today is unlike anything that I could have imagined 10 years ago, I am still old enough to remember when simply saying the word "awesomeness" would garner a chuckle. I thought about that a lot when I read this entire collection over the course of half a cup of coffee.

It's a product of its time down to the letter, has very little to say, showcases little of its creator's genuine wit and charm, and one of its weaker running jokes takes up 50 of the 130 pages. Thank you but no thank you. Loved the card game, though.

My grandmother got my family this book since we have 8 cats at our house (2 belong to my friend, and actually, it's more like 12 at the moment b/c one of our cats just had birth. haha)
I read it the day she gave it to us, cause it's not that long or hard to read, and we were at her house for Naw-Ruz(Baha'i New Year).
So, yes.
It's really funny.
