I like the story, I liked the writing and the format, but despise the characters. I REALLY hate the characters. I kept finding myself making faces at them all. So wrong.

Found it very slow in the middle. Didn’t like the way Celeste was treated. Skimmed the end because I was finding it was dragging.

I really enjoyed the author’s writing style and that she kept me turning the pages to find out more. However I just couldn’t decide how I felt about the main characters. Celestial seems like a spoiled brat to me, Andre seems like a person of convenience and Roy just seems like he couldn’t ever figure out where he really belonged in the world - yet all of this lends to the nature of modern marriages in America. Sadly the skeleton of their story is seen over and over again in America while the details of their particular story are a bit tragic.
