My best friend got me this book (She remembered I was Irish when standing in the pretty book section basically) and it's a lovely little collection of short Irish fairy tales. Some even very much like the fairy tales we all know from childhood!

A lovely book to read to children or to read if you enjoy fairy tales, myths and legends yourself!

I bought this book at Books Upstairs in Dublin and it gave me so much insight on Ireland's core values and stories! The author included context for English speakers who aren't familiar with Irish pronunciation or legends, without making it feel like a children's book. The distinction between gods, fairies, magic stories etc, was super well done.
