I learned a lot about gross things while listening to this book. The chapter that sticks out to me the most is the one on skin mites š„µ and listening to the chapter about facial recognition/face blindness, made me do a bunch of quizzes to see if Iām a Super Recognizer, and honestly, I really think I am. Though I refuse to use my powers for evil working with cops and commit to using them for good (by interrupting movies to tell you what else that actor has been in!) Also had BIG feelings about the chapter regarding roaches & roach inspired robots because lord knows those are going to be used for mass surveillance and other nonsense. Informative, gross, and weird with solid narration. My biggest beef with text was largely the authors implied pro-cop/pro-criminal ājusticeā system sentiments. But all in all, an interesting read.
