This one was very interesting! Told from death’s perspective as the narrator, this book follows Liesel’s story in 1939 Germany. The POV was really interesting to me. The beginning was SLOW but there is a lot of foreshadowing in this book which kept me interested.

Honestly, one of the best books I've read in a while. Death as the narrator adds an incredible atmosphere to this book and it grips me. It's heart breaking over and over but definitely worth it!
