Brilliantly written. I am so glad I can now add this to my list of reads. 10/10 would recommend. I honestly did not suspect that the killer might be Brett. He didn't appear that much in the book in my opinion and when he did it was in such a minor way. That was what I loved most about this, the plot twist. The fact that I was genuinely surprised at who the killer turned out to be. I was hoping to see a little romance between Halliday and Lavelle but meh maybe it wouldn't have fit in well. All in all a really good read.
When I first started reading this, I was so confused. Much like Liv was, which I believe was the point. I enjoyed learning new information along the way and I was rooting for Liv throughout the novel. I couldn’t imagine not remembering another that had happened to me once I fell asleep and the disorientation that would go along with it. Golden unravels a story that is intruiging and addicting, keeping you on your toes throughout the story.
I had some suspicion, and some things still don’t add up in my head. Plus, being a story where the main character struggles to remember can be a tad repetitive, but I think the multi-timeline and multi POV helped break up the slight repetitive details and made it so I didn’t feel like I was reading the same thing over and over again. I would definitely recommend this book, and just know it’s okay to feel VERY confused at the beginning, especially if you don’t read the synopsis :)
