Brunetti is great, but Paola is by far my favorite. I just can't get enough of her.

Delayed reading this one cause the premise didn’t interest me much, but I appreciate how it all played out

Love this series!

Brunetti's wife is a fascinating character and I enjoy their scenes together. They are both such strong and moral individuals, and each is willing to try to see the issues from the other's perspective. In this story there seems to be no compromise, so they must rely on love. Leon writes some of the best, truest love scenes I've read. So far, this may be my favorite in the series.

Not as atmospheric as some of Donna Leon's Brunetti mysteries, but this book definitely delivers with its engaging plot. I was absorbed, as usual, for the whole story!

A solid detective story enhanced by the Brunetti family goings on.
