Solid action thriller where a former SEAL seeks revenge on those who took everything from him. This book is fast paced. I was hoping for a bit more monologue from Reece at times but all of his actions became clear soon enough. Reece mostly carries the book, though a few of the side characters are interesting enough.

I concede I am likely not the target audience for this book, although I have enjoyed some tom Clancy back in my younger days.

The technical aspects of this book are very detailed and well executed and read like a manual on warfare and/or an equipment catalog. Unfortunately, the rest of the book also reads like a manual on warfare and/or an equipment catalog as well. One dimensional characters and blocky simplistic dialogue overpower the rest of the books potential saving graces.

It did at least read quick.

A GREAT listen on Audible! Everything you’d expect from a political thriller: a top-notch Navy SEAL protagonist who is out seeking to avenge his family and brothers in war, all while taking out and checking off his list of the antagonists like clay pigeons. That’s my only complaint here: our antagonists had no real life or depth… our protagonist just had to cleverly get a plan together, say “pull” and down they went.

A good action thriller. It got a bit oddly specific with the military lingo/jargon at times and the political party affliations didn’t seem necessary to complete the story, but it was fun and I can watch the series on Amazon now.

Literally epic and mid way through i immediately ordered the next two books from the library. Best thriller book I’ve read in a long time.
