So much fun! This was long for a romance, and that's really my only gripe with it. Diana and Shane are one of my favorite Elle Couples.
Characters-10
Diana and Shane start off as people who hate each other, and have to co-exist. The development of the relationship was beautiful. I love a good fake dating book and this was one of the best fake dating books I've read because you could see the switch, and the will they or won't they. I don't tend to love exes in books, but these two had situations, and I thought they were brought closer together . The supporting cast in this shines just as much as the main couple.
Setting-10
The Hastings setting is always a fun place to revisit. I love both the inside scenes, where you get to see where the characters live. The outside scenes are fun because you see the group bonding.
Writing-10
The banter was bantering at the start of this! In true Elle Kennedy style, I laughed, I cried, and I felt all the feelings you feel when you read Elle Kennedy. Loved the Dual POV, and Elle Kennedy's writing style. All the books i've read from author have been fun, but also brimming with emotional depth.
Plot-9
I liked the story! I thought it was great, and there were some twists and turns in here that kept me engaged. The pace of this was steady which is what I like in a romance. There are definitely some darker themes in here, so read with caution and check the Tw's.

Gosh I loved this. I didn't love every aspect of it, but the darker things were needed because it brought the couple closer. Great characters! A fun story for the most part.
