Yeah this spin off is just not written well. I had hope for this one. The 

Shane’s dad just dies from stage 4 cancer that he hid from the entire family. Then he just like takes a week off and gets back to hockey. Really too much.

This spin off series has been so dark for like no reason

You know when you start a book and in the first chapters or characters interactions you already know what is going to happen but you still keep reading it because the way everything is written is so well constructed and captivating. That’s this book! You have a little bit of everything! You cry, you cheer, you laugh (a lot) and then there is the spicy stuff (*cof Chapter 36 *cof)!

Shane and Dixon are the GOAT.. also if Elle Kennedy could NOT make me cry in a dumb hockey romance EVERY TIME I’d be happy. I loved this so much cannot wait for book 3.. I’m a toss up between wanting Will and Bennett and a mystery lady or Blake and Isaac
