Was great for a long time and then got extremely unnecessarily dark (

His dad dies out of the blue (at keast for the mmc) because of stage 4 cancer and the fmc gets beat up so hard by her ex that she‘s brought to the hospital

). Not gonna read this one again that‘s for sure.
