Review with quotes to come :)
Actual Rating: 3.5 stars
I actually listened to the TedTalk, which was since adapted and edited for the book version. Adichie's speaking skills alone is 5 stars.
When I first sought out her work, I actually meant to read We Should All Be Feminists before reading A Feminist Manifesto, but it turns out I appreciated the latter much more.

An essay adapted by the Ted Talk by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. A must read!

this book was really insightful - don’t be fooled by it’s size! it’s mighty in it’s lesson.
I sometimes struggle to read activism-forward texts but this one really felt as if it was spoken to me (in being adapted from a TED talk it makes sense) and so I found myself really able to absorb and enjoy it - a rare thing for me with these kinds of texts.
It’s definitely a book you can read in one sitting and I agree with the author: we SHOULD all be feminists :)
