It's very narrative heavy. It moves the story along well but the last book brought in so many characters that this one neglects to follow up with.This book brought in more characters too but the focus is with a very small handful of characters still. In the end it's rather uneventful for the most past.

I fuckin' hate Jiraiya and Kakashi as Naruto's "teachers". They don't teach him shit. Kakashi plays favorites (and the only times Naruto recognizes this are a joke) and doesn't notice that Naruto can't use his chakra properly even with his Sharingan eye?? He thinks Naruto's too lazy so he just pawns Naruto off onto Jiraiya, who steals Naruto's money, is a complete asshole to Naruto (which, being Naruto's godfather who just left him to be an orphan in the first place, you'd think he's spend some time training Naruto like he fucking promised!!!), and doesn't actually teach him anything except about the existence of a jutsu then says "good luck kid you have to just get a feel for it". Gah. I'm only so critical because I love Naruto so much, however, so the five stars. I love Naruto with my entire heart.

I really enjoyed this Manga. 

This follows Naruto as he and his friends deal with the ending of the chunin exams and the ending of Orochimaru's plan to destroy the leaf village. 

I really enjoy being with these characters in all that they do. It is fun to see all that they are doing and how they are dealing with all that happens. I love these characters and all that they are doing. 

The story is good and fun to read even when they handle hard things. 

I loved seeing the characters grow as ninja and learning more about being ninja. 

I love this reread cannot wait to continue.
