This was such a good book! The sex was steamy but not over the top and the storyline flowed well.

I need to read the whole series . The first book about mason and ragon had me wanting more than this the second in the series cements it  in my need to read the whole thing.  In this we find out more about the Hall family, a wider view of the town that they live in and more about the family values which they were brought up on and are instilled in them.
I have a lot of to be continued series now I've started to read my kindle tbr but this will be among the first ones I read once the kindle challenge is over.
This series is very mills and boon  but so worth the time to read.

Not super loving this series, a lot of the stories don't make sense and the sex scenes are not realistic. I want to see how it plays out with the brothers and the ranch, but still not really all that invested in it.

A little tiring

The book started out catching my interest. I was expecting more of a slow build because they did have chemistry, but they just met. Austin and Ella each had their own reasons for marrying each other. I could comfortably accept the modern day mail order bride premise.

At first, their back and forth about their sex life was kind of funny. Then it went on too long. Austin's guilt over his friend just became tedious.

There was a surprise in the book that I wasn't expecting based on the build-up to that moment. Then the surprise took a strange twist. I didn't see the point of adding the twist, but I didn't write the book. The twist will definitely be picked up in a later book, and to my mind the entire concept could have been contained in the later book and completely left out of this one.

It wasn't a bad book, but it felt like there were puzzle pieces on the table being forced to fit in where they didn't belong.

As cute as the predecessor with a dash of light angst. It is an easy read to get your mind off things.

This is the second book in the Heroes of Chance Creek series and it is just as good as the first. Sometimes fate plays a hand in when you meet "The One" and this is the case with Austin and Ella. This book is full of great characters, it is funny and steamy, and I can't wait to see how the other brothers get on in their quest for a bride. I am sure we will see more of Heather and Richard.

Seton did a great job with book 2 in the Heroes of Chance Creek series, especially with the hero, Austin. He's a character with survivor's guilt and PTSD, so watching him grow and learn to live/love again with Ella was really rewarding. Their were parts of their story that felt similar to Mason and Regan's, which led me to be bored at certain times. Nonetheless, the Hall family has me very intrigued.
