⭐ 3/5
A cute but forgettable follow-up.
I loved the first book, so I was genuinely excited (and a little shocked) to find Mystery of Thorn Manor as an audiobook! It was nice to revisit the characters and see what happened next—but honestly? It didn’t feel that necessary. The plot was fine, but it didn’t leave much of an impression. I don’t remember many details, which kind of says it all.
Enjoyable in the moment, but... meh.

I did really like this it was very cute. I really hope that we get more from them and this world, because it felt like it was heading that way.

But not much did actually happen in this. I get it because it is a novella but I wasn’t enthralled by it. But I did like coming back into the world with the characters. It was like returning home to them.

I wish I could be in their world forever </3 Thank you Margaret Rogerson for this! Didn't know I needed it

As far as plot and everything goes, it's definitely read a bit like fanfiction, but in the best way possible!! I would give this a try if you loved the characters of SOT (:

Like most small novellas this was quick & mostly just filler. If you’re deeply engrossed & enthralled with A Sorcery of Thorns, by all means read this, however if you felt the book mundane or just so-so, skip it. I won’t read this again, though it wasn’t BAD, it wasn’t great.

Soo cute nothing crazy going on just a long epilouge I loved it soo much I prefer this sort of continuation over people drawing out a series 100%
