Bastardo. Solo un estoy feliz que estés devuelta.

This book was the first one of my phase of 'books about girls who have to move in with a bunch of boys' and I must say, this has some of the best writing style, the most realistic guardians who don't want the girl, Megan, to be dating the boys she's living with, and the most dynamic characters. The boys are thoroughly explored unlike some others that I've read. Megan chooses to move far away from her friends to live with the boys instead of moving with her parents to a foreign country and at first I didn't respect her decision because she would have to move either way, but staying in The States would be so much easier than adapting cultures. I still think her parents are crazy for letting her do that but still, its mostly realistic.

It also had the most realistic (and disappointing, because real life sucks) and inconclusive ending. Which, of course, I love inconclusive endings because then I can continue to write my own story of what happens to the characters. ...I wouldn't oppose a sequel tho.

Three cheers (and five stars) for Megan Meade

I liked this book a lot! It was creative and different, and such a guilty pleasure. I read most of it in one sitting last night, but finished it up just an hour ago. I recommend this to anyone who is up for a high-school drama. There's romance yes, but it's not overwhelming.

1-What is Coach's gender? I really never caught that.
2-It left me thinking 'What the heck Evan!?'. That's the only thing, the book messed with my head a bit on the LAST PAGE. Books aren't supposed to do that!

Those are the only two things that upset me ^. And they didn't even knock off one star. So definitely read this book, it was great.(:

When Megan's army parents go to Korea for her junior year, Megan decides to stay with the family friend. The McGowans have SEVEN sons, ranging from the extremely hot and popular senior Evan to the littlest troublemaker and everything in between. The boys have never had a girl live with them before, and it sure disrupts their lives. Pranks, teasing, and freeze-outs occur, but Megan also discovers that boys can be nice and sensitive too--when they feel like it.

On the soccer team, Megan clashes with Hailey, Evan's girlfriend and best player on the team. In addition, slacker Doug seems to have it out for her, Megan wants to figure out how to get through to Miller, who has Asperger's Syndrome, and Finn, the artistic junior, is beginning to puzzle her.

Through all the teenage drama and sometimes unbelievable moments, Megan remains a heroine anyone can cheer for.
