Oh, this was such a a sweet story, really was surprised how much I loved it. I loved the character's voice and I loved the narrator, it really made the book so enjoyable.
I also appreciated the pregnant sex scenes. The author did such a good job making a pregnant woman more dimensional than just the bump.

It was all about her being pregnant, which doesn’t interest me. Not really a romance novel either.

very cute friends-to-lovers.
eve was a bit annoying and i really wish there was more of an established baseline of her and shep's friendship before her pregnancy but the cute parts were really cute and both the boys were also unrealistically perfect.

I really liked this one! And I recently finished a book based on an accidental pregnancy that I disliked and even one chapter into Ready Or Not, I knew I was going to enjoy it.

I liked the characters so much and enjoyed the writing style of their dialogue and even when the main character talks directly to me as a reader.

The story itself wasn’t just based on a pregnancy and the very common pregnancy symptoms that exist, but it focuses on how your relationships change and how you change moving into motherhood. And although the deceased parent figure storyline was sad, it was written well and was emotional and lovely.

Overall, I thought it was a great, light easy read. Recommend!

Here are all the notes I had, was really trying to get through because this was a book club pick. I was just hating the audiobook voices for everyone and the story was annoying me:
-I hate that the brothers name is ‘shep’
-The banter between Eve & her ob nurse is perfection.
-shep reminds me of shaggy from scooby doo, just like how the audiobook voices him
-she did not think this pregnancy through at all
-Is this a romance book? (Me at 40%)
-this is messy in the worst way
-there should not be a love triangle in this at all
