The best part of this was Poet's Corner. Poetry has always intrigued me, but I've never really gotten into it as I don't know where to start and how to read it and to look for in a poem. I've also always loved the idea of writing and writing and writing because you can't stop, because that's all you can do, and because it's like breathing to you. One more thing I'd like to do but don't do.
It's been inspiring to read about a girl who sees herself as crazy, but from the outside looks as if she had "the perfect life". A girl who struggles and yet learns to overcome her fears and finds the strength to fight her mental illness.
I liked how a genuinely good person AJ felt like despite all the bullying he had to go through when he was little. I wish I could be like him. I wish to find the confidence that Sam has found in herself, to do things I fear because they're what's right and what I need to become a better person, for me and for the people around me.

I really loved it and completely binged it but in last 12% I just lost the urge to pick it back up, probably because of exams and some personal circumstances
and then just wanted it to be over, skimmed a lot in last 12 percent but as a whole it was fantastic

All I know is that I feel good about myself for the first time in ages. I might still be obsessing, but I’m  obsessing  about poetry and words. I’m swimming almost every day, and my body feels strong and my mind is so clear.

I liked how she still has that obsession thing but she is putting it in worthy things, we can also put our strange fixation into something beneficial👍👍

his perspective started to change. He began to realize no one else heard music quite the way he did. No one else knew that his wife’s voice was this really unique shade of purple. ‘Normal’ people couldn’t see the color of laughter, and he began to feel sorry for them, because they’d never get to experience the world the way he did. I think that’s a lovely way to look at special minds.

Crazy is such a subjective word. I’d never use it to label anyone—certainly not you. Look, your brain functions differently from other brains, Sam. And because of the way your brain works, you got to know this wonderful person named Caroline. No one else had that privilege.

First time I read this book, I read it in one sitting. This time, it was just as good as I remembered it. I love the definitive line you can see between good and bad, healthy and unhealthy, yet you can still relate and understand her struggles in navigating through those circumstances. I finished this book so encouraged to live fearlessly and to be more open and vulnerable with people. Love it.
