The perfect book to explore the smallest, tiny things in our lives and surroundings. It's a great starter for educators to let their students pay more attention to their ecosystem in a small garden or patch of dirt. There is so much happening and so much to learn from. Addie's journey is amazing, she encounters so much not only good food, but other species, flowers, aromas, flavors, and scents. The illustrations are very detailed and beautifully stylized. We could spend time looking at the details and the harmony of colors. Has a great mood and message. I love books about ants. I wish the font was a bit larger.
