This was a fast paced romance novel that focuses heavily on the relationship but towards the end we get some good plot with the cliffhanger.
I appreciate Sierra's presentation of BDSM. The spicy scenes (of which there are plenty) are more about the exploration of the relationship rather than the BDSM itself and I enjoyed that. Ash and Greer's relationship was interesting to watch develop, especially as they started to incorporate Embry into their relationship.
I will say that I am confused about the timeline of the events of the book. I think it occurs in the second year of Ash's presidency but I'm not sure how many months the book takes place over.
I'm excited to read American Prince!!

My rating is also reflecting upon the little bit of book two that I stated before I got the hell out of there. That really sealed this rating for me.
I’ve read a lot of crazy stuff, so not a lot disturbs me, but the beginning of book two was so disturbing. Overall I don’t like the way these books made me feel.
On top of all that not sure why any of these people love each other.

Quick and entertaining read with lots of spice. Love the Camelot/Arthurian legend vibes... Hopefully will learn more about Merlin's character in the next books.
