This book is not going to be for everyone, but holy wow I loved it. The spice is absolutely amazing and I enjoyed how Embry and Ash's characters were written. This was thrilling, exhilarating, and I absolutely could not put it down. Please check TWs!!!!

🎧 Audiobook version

Wow, okay… I dove into this book completely blind—for the narration, and I had no idea what to really expect 😆

I will say the only thing I didn’t love about this book was the religious aspects and references. IMO, I just don’t enjoy that in books.

The rest of the book though? 👏 The plot was interesting, intriguing, and kept me listening nonstop. There’s this realistic yet magical vibe going on, and I was so here for it. The dynamic between the three of them is fascinating but also heartbreaking. I want happiness for all three of them, but there is so much at stake that I’m not sure a true HEA is even possible 😩

I loved Greer, she’s so relatable and has so much strength in her quietness. Embry 🥺 I’m obsessed with him. I love his character so much. He’s gentle, kind, and so sweet!! And then there’s Ash… ugh, I have such a love/hate relationship with him. There are parts of him I really like, but then he makes choices that make me want to slap him 😂

The audiobook was EXCELLENT! The narrators absolutely nailed their parts and truly brought this story to life. I was literally obsessed and cannot wait to dive into the next one. The way this one ended though… yeah, I need book two ASAP because I have to know what happens next.

Tropes:
👑 Forbidden romance
❤️‍🔥 Love triangle
🥵 Angst galore
🔥 Steam overload

challenging dark tense fast-paced

The only thing that comes to mind when I think about this book is that Caroline from Vampire Diaries audio on TikTok when she says “Did I say stand there and look stupid? No! I said burn it” and that exactly what that man needs to be burned to shreds shit honestly the whole book in of itself

Xd?
