Parts of it shone, other parts did not. Unfortunately, great chunks of it were better suited to a different book – even if they were interesting, they did not fit under the scope of Dederer's question of "What do we do with art made by bad people?", and so it feels rather aimless. Overall, worth a read if you've not explored the question much, but a let-down for those of us who have.
