A Beautifully woven story with layers of stories all coming together in a beautiful ending. Very reminiscent of My Fathers Dragon but a more rich story

I didn't think that the ending was that good!!! The best part was the middle of the book. But I still liked the book.

Curriculum readaloud with the kiddos! We all voted and decided it deserves two thumbs up (well, six actually
adventurous hopeful inspiring lighthearted reflective fast-paced

Yes.

We truly enjoyed Lin's use of similes and descriptive language. The way she wove the story together was brilliant!

Awesome storytelling and details make this a must read!!

Listening to the audiobook I don't think was as pleasurable of an experience as reading the actual book would have been. The illustrations and formatting of the book itself I think makes for a much more pleasing experience. I would only recommend listening to the audiobook while reading along with the book.

The first read (of hopefully many!) Newberry awardees to celebrate the centennial anniversary & prepare a good friend to one day be a teacher!

Where the Mountain Meets the Moon is an epic quest through Chinese folktales. It is full of magical creatures, adventure, and fantasy. It left me feeling grateful and content. Pick up a paper copy because the illustrations are gorgeous.
