I loved this book and all it's enchanting stories enough to purchase two more books by the author yesterday, when only about 3/4ths through. Having finished reading it aloud to my 6-year old daughter tonight, I'm glad I did because we are both equally excited to begin one of them tomorrow night at bedtime.

I absolutely recommend this if you have a small(ish) child (ready for chapter books, although there are a few beautiful illustrations by the author scattered throughout). If not, you'll probably still love this.
