RYAN FREAKING SHAY!!!

ugh I love Ryan and the only reason I couldn’t give this a 5 stars because of the one scene at about 85% I felt that it was so unnecessary but other than that Ryan could do no wrong

Almost a 5 stars but not quite there yet. There was so much potential for more angst, which is something I always crave more for, in books.

This was kind of overly meta? The FMC basically saying "I want you to be my book boyfriend" including growling, jealously, darkening eyes and all. She also constantly tried to label his love language. A lot of it felt like it made textual what could be subtext. While yes, sometimes one does need to be slapped in the face with the fact that someone loves them and is showing it in silent ways, I think the reader already knew and was picking up on those things - his relationship with her mom, the "insurance change", the fact that he made her ask for what she wanted. I also feel like we could've seen more of what she did for him - it did feel a bit inequitable, especially when she jumped to conclusions and pushed him to move past the injury and get over it since it was 'only' a 4-week recovery.

I liked that they were each trying to help each other grow in their own ways, it was cute, and the MMC in particular was a cutie pie, but I feel no need to re-read. I may pick up the others in the series if I get curious but I'm not that curious yet.

I Really enjoyed this book. Bothe characters were well developed and I was rooting for them the whole time. This book is exactly what we are looking for in this genre.

The reason I didn’t give this book 5 stars is because it is about 75 pages too long. The last 20% if the book really dragged and I found the epilogue really dry. This wouldn’t stop me from recommending it
