This book was amazing! You got the mafia, forbidden romance, enemy to lovers, found family, one bed! Just everything! The characters were so intriguing! The story was interesting! Plot was perfection! Not really any spice but that’s not a deal breaker for me! Loved every moment of it! I’ll be recommending this to the book club in in!

This was such a great read! I was hooked nearly immediately.
This story has it all, intrigue, a little mystery, the ultimate Grand Gesture from our MMC to prove his love for our FMC! *Swoon*
Yes, this was a Mafia story. But don't assume it's going to follow the usual plot lines you consistently see (and yes, we love those!) But this has such a fun unique element that I can describe without spoiling the story.
The enemies to lovers trope in this is extra delicious the way it unfolds! I think you'll really enjoy it!
Book 1 in the series and I am SO excited to see where the overarching plot line goes through Books 2 (Mine to Tease), Book 3 (Mine To Love) and, hopefully, beyond!

Another great book from author, Emily Myers. Once, I started reading, i could not stop. I literally finished this book in one day. Although, I am not surprised as I would not expect anything less from reading a book by Emily. She knows how to write engaging characters that do tug at your heartstrings. If you love Mafia romances, you do need to check out this book.
I truly felt for Alister and his sister, Sophia. What they endured as a family would tear them down but build them up again to be stronger than ever. While Alister and Ariana may be the main leads; Sophia shows that she is just as strong when she does make appearances. She truly is the glue that holds her and Alister together.
The romance between Alister and Ariana is steamy. Yet, it does not overpower the storyline. I like that it was not too much. This way it allowed Ariana to shine as well as a strong, independent woman. Who showed that she could stand alongside Alister.

Although from different backgrounds, Ariana and Alister soon realize that have a lot more in common than they thought.
I cheated and started this book a little early and I could not put it down - Alister is totally swoon worthy! This was a super slow burn (which I absolutely love) with a tiny little steamy scene. There was also a nice bit of action and intersting twists throughout. Unlike many similar stories, the author did a great job of showing the vulnerabilities and growth in both characters. I really enjoyed the alternating viewpoints - really reinforced the contrasting characters backgrounds and their thought processes throughout the story.
