Well, I'm not a big fan of the book version, which is rare. Eloise deserved a better story and hopefully that's what happens in the TV series.

I'm glad Philip had some character development towards the end and got a bit better, but I have come to realize that even if I'm somewhat hopeful in the beginning, I'm never gonna like any men in Bridgerton

Only Eloise would do something so different! This has to be near the top for me! I loved that she fell for him and the kids.

One of the best in the series honestly. A lot of fun. Really liked the romance in this one. I think my only "Gripe" is that the fmc felt a bit too young sometimes.

i was expecting a great lot more but this was just quite disappointing. eloise's character felt completely off from the ones in earlier books, and philip was just incredibly annoying most of the time. i did enjoy some parts, but most i did not. quite sad because it did have potential, and i liked it in the beginning but it just kept going downhill from there. the relationship felt forced (which it was, i suppose) and just very plain so idk where all the "passion" and "fire" came from during the sexy scenes. it did not amuse me at all, only fun were the twins and their relationship with eloise. i did enjoy the way that that was built, even though it did clash with my perception of eloise's character and her opinions on marriage and children and individuality at some point.
