*lots of sexual content, which I was not expecting. The author's writing style was great and I found the story enjoyable.

Just like a quote from this book, it was here for "a good time, not a long time."

This was an enjoyable, quick read. Sometimes the decisions of the MFC and MMC took me out of a story a bit. They were both a little selfish, but I understand how it made sense for both of the emotional journey. I just would be so mad if the maid-of-honour and best man kept delaying getting to the wedding destination until the last possible minute 😂

Round up to 4.5 STARS! I loved this read from NetGalley and now I'm wishing I had started it the second I got a copy. I just love Trish Doller's easy storytelling. She had me roped into this rom-com from the first sentence and I couldn't put it down until I found out what happened.

I loved the banter, the relationships, the connection to the first book I read in the series, The Float Plan, and so much more! It makes me want to travel and follow crazy ideas and fall in love without meaning to. I missed reading the second book in the series but it didn't feel like it was needed in order to go on this journey with Carla.

This is an amazing summer, beach, travel, or just anytime read!

DID NOT FINISH: 33%

DNFed at 33%. I tried to go further but by then I was only skimming and it's unfair to give this book a rating when I didn't even give it my whole attention.

I didn't feel any genuine connection between Eamon and Clara, and I didn't feel connected to them as well. I need something to at least cling to so I can enjoy my reading which I unfortunately didn't find here. Also, who goes on an unplanned road trip days before your brother or best friend's wedding and where you're Best Man and Maid of Honor, respectively? Can't they just wait after?

This does not diminish my love for Trish Doller, though. I will still definitely be on the lookout for her books.

Grateful to St. Martin's Press, NetGalley and the author for giving me an early chance to dive into this book. All opinions are honest and my own.
