This is my third book that I’ve read from Trish Doller. And honestly I think it’s my favorite yet. I’m not one for instant love/connection in a book but it really works here.

I love the travel and the personal growth and the overall chemistry between the characters. I laughed and did a fair amount of crying but this book was sooooo with it.

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me an advance copy for my honest review. Definitely one of my favorite books in a long time.

Really cute book. The beginning was super smutty but it leveled off as the character development set in. This book hit hard emotionally with Biggie having dementia, but god I related to the male and female MCs a lot. Others’ expectations are a heavy burden in life, and it was fun to imagine one where your own path goes where you tell it to…but the equal warning is that letting people in is also a huge part of life that has valid meaning at an inverse. I loved that complexity. I for sure cried at the end after having many days of mu grandmother and uncle not recall who I was, and the heartbreak came rolling back. Overall solid quick read.

Thanks NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for this arc!

4/5 stars

This was a sweet and emotional audiobook. I really liked the narrator, her accents were pretty good! The story was very emotional, and I cried more than a few times from it being both sweet and heartbreaking. It was a really short audiobook and I think it was the perfect length, i was surprised by something at the ending but anything more would've made this book drag a lot. I enjoyed it!

This was a solid 4 star and I enjoyed this whole book.  I read and listened to this story. The narration was well done. The banter, the little spice and the flow of this book made it so easy to fly through this book. I feel like this could be read as a standalone but more enjoyable with the series.

Thank you NetGalley and Publishers for this audiobook  for an honest review!
