I hadn’t had plans to read Benjar anytime soon just because I’ve had a bit of a hard time reading this year and I don’t want to read too much of one author/series at one time and then feel even more restless looking for something else to read and if I do land on something, not be able to finish it as my attention span is pretty short right now. However, Amazon kept recommending Honey Phillips’ books to me, Benjar among them, and they did it often enough that I wanted to check it out. I’m glad I did that because I enjoyed Benjar so much! It was humorous, steamy, tugged on my heartstrings, and was also sweet. It was a fun, good time and I loved reading it and I can’t wait to read Callum and Pearl’s book!

3.5 stars. If you enjoyed Ice planet barbarians this could be a series for you. These books are more novellas than true books I feel, however they are cute quick little reads. My big complaint is because they are short there isn't much world building and the time frame is also pretty quick. Not as much detail as a series like IPB but still a good one!
