I love Blake Crouch. Dark Matter is an all time favorite book and Recursion while kinda a remix was still good. I liked Upgrade. I’d say is a 2.5 rounded down. This book is really missing the emotional through line that the other two had. There are some LOL absurd moments that did not feel intentional. I look forward to the next one but this one did not hit like I hoped it would.
