My first Katherine Center, and I was not disappointed. I really liked the story and the duo Jack/Hannah, I liked their banter and the way their relationship evolved. It did feel a bit instalovey and had some moments that were a bit too much for me, but overall it was good.

God I love Katherine Center. Another great story that blends heavy real life shit with rom com tropes. She really had me towards the end though, there was a moment of "why did I read this?!?!?!?!?!" But then of course she won me back over by the end.

the time jumps r way too abrupt and narrative style is so inconsistent. Also too insta-love-y for my taste - it would be fine if the “oh no I like him” part was after a bunch of character development and romantic things happened, but it wasn’t, it was BEFORE those events. felt like the wrong placement. it was cute and entertaining but too hallmark (not enough substance within the romance/relationship for me) :/
