I enjoyed this more than the previous book simply because it was about Chris, and her character (and partner) are more enjoyable for me as central characters than KC and Sage. Chris' relationship with Dayna advances, although the book could have used more Chris/Dayna interaction, Dayna always seems to get short shrift. KC and Sage played their roles nicely, and Abuelita has a bigger role, which was nice.

The main problem with this story is that the 'mystery' revolves around an unlikable victim, and doesn't really go anywhere at all, which is especially problematic since we had to wade through so much of it. Also there's a blogging storyline which we waste a lot of time on, but nothing comes of it. Honestly, I'm not sure what the point of this storyline was, I'm hoping there will be some continuation of these plots in the next story, but these books should really be stand alone. Also the formatting is off again in this book, there are several instances where multiple people are talking in one block, and it's just confusing. How hard is it for these to be formatted properly? For this price I expect more.
