Really well written and didn't feel as long as it was. I always think that's a good sign. I will definitely read more books by Slaughter.

This book definitely isn’t for the weak!
It started off a bit slow and was unnecessarily long but I guess it was to build up the suspense quite a bit.
At first, the only emotion i felt that was identifiable was confusion, I had a lot of questions which was a good thing cause my curiosity motivated me to go on, as the book went on, those questions were gradually being answered.
There’s a lot of trigger warnings in this book, I must warn you, a lot of traumatizing events that really twisted and tugged at my heart strings, it was awful.
Not to give in on too much, it was a good good read, I truly loved this psychological thriller/ suspense novel. I’d give it 4 stars I think; the plot was great but it dragged but still really good.There’s a lot more on my mind that I think I should say, but I’m still kind of in a very weird way after reading this book.

The plot was great, however it felt like 40% of the book was the actual story and 60% was just some random jargon. The author goes on tangents about useless info(like something as dumb as where the water they’re drinking first originated from on their first date..) Like I get it you’re trying to set the mood and help us dive deeper into the characters. But doing that every other paragraph tends to get annoying.

Honestly I felt gross reading this, i normally don’t have issues with violence but this was so over the top and just violence for violence sake. Sometimes the sisters behaved in ways that were so stupid it made it hard to root for them.
