Absolutely loved this book. It’s heart breaking in the worst of ways, and has just the right amount to heart-lifting love and friendship to give a nice balance. It was also fascinating to read and learn so much about life in remote towns of Alaska. I wish I could just keep reading it over and over again!

Kristin Hannah always has lovely writing and a story that pulls me in. The descriptions of Alaska very much transported me there. The characters felt well-developed but the ending felt packed and rushed. *HUGE domestic violence content warning*
