This one is hard for me to rate. I didn’t care about the romance at all - it felt very forced and I just didn’t love it. I was, however, captivated by the familial issues in this book. Both between Willow and her dad thinking he knows what she needs, and Camden, Xander and their dad and everything there. That was where I was really interested, and I was much less invested in the Willow/Cam aspect. Although I did appreciate the lack of third act breakup when I thought that was very obviously where it was going. I like when books defy the tropes I expect.

Book Review 📚
Great and Precious Things by Rebecca Yarros
This wasn’t my fave by Yarros but I still enjoyed it. I felt the ending was a bit rushed and I wanted more out of it while some parts at the beginning were a tad drawn out.
“You're not a complication in my life, Willow. You're the reason.”
