It was worth the time!

Naval is one of the most known investors around the world. Naval Ravikant is an angel investor who has invested in more than 100 companies from their early stage, including in Twitter, Uber. He has also ventured into several other investment types, including a cryptocurrency hedge fund in the early days of 2014 before the big rally.

Apart from his investment credentials he is famous for being a wise philosopher of life. It is crystal clear that he is one among those who understand the reality of being alive. The essence of happiness aligning with wealth.

This book is a compilation of Naval’s thoughts from twitter, essays, and podcasts over the past decade, and provides the blueprint for the way of thinking that makes Naval successful as an investor, a technologist, and an overall well-rounded human being. This is the wisdom of Naval getting from involving into work and trial-and-error. He is not saying, he just tries and informs.

This is the "the-sooner-you-read-the-better" kind of book. This book helps you to feel the current moment and get the core of living. It is not all about money.

"Getting rich is not just about luck; happiness is not just a trait we are born with. These aspirations may seem out of reach, but building wealth and being happy are skills we can learn."
"Love is given, not received."

"If you can’t decide, the answer is no."

"When solving problems: the older the problem, the older the solution."

"When everyone is sick, we no longer consider it a disease."

"Before you can lie to another, you must first lie to yourself."

Highly Recommended

I promise this is THE SELF-HELP BOOK that one would want to have without any bullshit and philosophical thoughts. I resonate with at least 90% of the thoughts Naval has. And the rest of his thoughts, I agree with them.

He has emphasised on being happy, to have knowledge, to be social, to leave worries and anxiety aside, importance of exercising, READING, leaving caffeine, etc.! The little things that we don’t really observe around us and take for granted are the ones which actually change our lives. To give an instance, he says that one should really think and decided upon the city he/she wants to live in. This would decide the whole course of life of a person.

If you are looking out for a book which has no crap, no philosophy and which will make you come to terms with reality, this is the book for you! It is a practical book which tells you that how can you take control of your own life.

Happy Reading :)

Not a self-help book, not a business book, not a philosophy book, neither a spiritual book.
Yet, it is everything above.
A book for Life, and one of the most impactful book of my life.

Must must recommended !!

From the broad category of "business/life self help" I feel this book is not very helpful. Naval has obviously made it, most the book is kind of jerking off to that. The practical content of the book is common sense: excercise, value your time, don't be asshole, collect wealth and so on.

The most useful part is the book recommendation list at the end.

I think that parts of this book were not for me, but it's hard to fault an author for not being your cup of tea when he specifically states in the book he doesn't give af about what I think lol!
