Naval is one of my favorites of all time, fantastic insight. Everyone should read this.
You know you have experienced pure bliss when the moment you complete a book and you know you are going to re-read and re-read it for your entire life.
I enjoyed each and every page of the book. The way Naval has explained the concepts of wealth, judgement, happiness, philosophy is worth reading everyday. I love how Naval has shed light on Buddhism and Science. They are a deadly combination. One of those books which I know for sure that I will gift to many people in the years to come.

5 Stars // Naval Ravikant is somewhat of a modern philosopher and guru for entrepreneurs. He rose to fame in recent years due to being a successful angel-investor and became even more mainstream after several appearances on Joe Rogans and Tim Ferriss’ podcasts.
He frequently shares his wisdom on Twitter and is, overall, very well-read and outspoken of his ideas. He had some, for my taste, too unbalanced opinions on Covid within the last couple of years, but this hot issue aside, he is still someone I listen to closely whenever he is on a podcast or gives an interview.
The author of this book then, Eric Jorgenson, combed through the internet to thoroughly search for every nugget of wisdom that Naval has shed over the years. He wanted to curate an ultimate ‘best-of’ album of Navals tweets, interviews and ideas. In my mind, this is an absolute fantastic and quick read, full of spot-on take-aways about the bigger workings of life. Rarely did I highlight so much in a book as with this Almanac.
For anyone who has some sort of entrepreneurial mind, this is a full 5 stars. What I like about it is that Naval is capable of breaking down complex workings into simple phrases that always get to the core of the issue and are in no way sugarcoated. For some people, this might then come off as a bit ‘bro-sciencey’, as in: they might feel like Navals ideas lack the depth or applicability and just be a lot of hot air. Overall though, this is a great collection of take-aways for entrepreneurs, investors, freelancers and people who have just a general deep interest in life. The best part: It’s a free eBook that works on a donation basis, so I have put the link in the description below and you should definitely check it out.

This book is an eye-opener! I think it’s one of the most important books to read. I’ll be keeping this book near my computer desk in order to reread this book in the future and also to recollect the things which are being said by Naval Ravikant. The author has done a great job by collect and explaining the stuffs which Naval has tweeted. Highly recommend this book to everyone, who are interested in developing their views on the wealth and happiness and overall life. Yeah thanks for reading my review.
There's really so much to talk about this book, would recommend for you to just dive right in. Some salient points that I picked up;
- almost every one of our successes stem from compounded interests
- pay it forward and help others with that one skill you're good at (people will start noticing and you'll be paid handsomely, by many folds, in the end)
- if you cannot make a decision on something, (especially on major life decisions) decide that it's not meant for you and move on!
- curb desires and learn that happiness is a choice, identify your priorities and make time for them

The book could have been so much better. It felt like notes taken in a hurry during a lecture. It could have been soo much more coherent. However the content in the book makes up for it. Thought provoking yet feels intuitive in how simple the concepts are.
My personal takeaways from the book,
- Build your specific knowledge - This is knowledge gained from experience, cannot be taught. Doing this feels fun for you and work for others.
- Owning Equity is one of the few ways which will earn money for you while you are not working
- Take time making the big 3 decisions - Where you live, Who you're with and What you do. Spend months to make these decisions with nothing else on your plate.
- Stuff which hurts or is difficult to in the short term is probably going to help in the long run. Our brain being the monkey that it is, might trick you into postponing the short term pain and say, "Let's worry about it later."
- At any point in time, have only one thing as your number one priority. If this is really true, you cannot not do it, cause it is literally, in your own admission, your number 1 priority.
- Who would you rather be? If you are jealous of something another person has are you willing to do a full-on trade of their life, relationship, experiences?
- Meditation is switching off what society thinks of you or you think of society and listening to only what your mind is thinking. You sorta look at or observe your monkey brain in action and learn to not listen to it all the time.

Yet another great book with valuable lessons from a successful entrepreneur! Below are my favorite excerpts from the book:
1. Happiness = health + wealth + good relationships
2. Using (all sort of) leverage to your advantage
3. Be present above all else
You might probably find all of Naval’s ideas in the 2hr interview with Joe Rogan.
Final Score: 4.6
