Excellent collection of Tweets of Mr.Naval with explanation... Wonderful compendium of NAVAL's wisdom....
I liked Naval's linking between peace and happiness

Peace in Motion is Happiness
Happiness in rest is Peace

Great quick read. Every page has some inspiring quotes or useful insight from Naval. I hadn’t heard of of Naval before, but I was recommended this book either through Goodreads or through Amazon. After reading the sample, I decided to buy it and happy I did. While reading, a buddy of mine whose (who’s??) career is in stocks/investing, mentioned that he follows Naval on Twitter for investment concepts and theories. After that, I knew Naval was legit because my buddy is selective on what he reads and who he follows. Shoutout greendyke!

Naval talks about how he thinks you can gain and maintain wealth. This portion of the book is only soso and I guess because I’ve read a lot on the topic of wealth, there wasn’t too much that was new to me. But naval does do a great job explaining and condensing everything. The portion I liked the most were his thoughts on peace and happiness. About being in the present moment, his values, daily routine, and philosophy on life.

I especially liked the parts about Navals reading habits. How he believes reading can put you in the top .001% of people if done over a long enough period. And how he constantly starts, stops, skims, and skips books. I previously felt like I had to finish boring books I’m not that into and recently started skipping or stop reading them entirely. So it’s reassuring to know naval recommends this and does it too. I also like learning how naval prioritizes his life: physical health, mental health, spiritual health, family health above the rest. And makes time every morning for a workout for his physical health. Things I want to incorporate and try to focus on in my life.

I’m a big fan of quick/efficient reads and this book format, which is like an interview or just collection of thoughts. This format makes it easy to read a couple pages and stop since topics are broken up into interview-like format.

At the end, naval also has a section talking about his favorite books and why. I’ll be checking out a few of those next for sure and already started one of his recommendations (Sapiens).

I’m sure I’ll be referring back to this book often for his happiness and wealth points.

This is compilation of some of the pithy and wise quotations from Naval Ravikant. He talks about life, learning, work, success, happiness, reading, valuing time, etc. among other things. If someone has been following Naval for some time on Twitter and listening to his podcasts, there is nothing new here. For those new to Naval, this is a very good starting point, though a lot has been left out of this book. He is a great thinker and an entrepreneur, may be techno-philosopher is the right word. I do not agree with everything he says, but most of it. His best piece of advice: “You’re not going to get rich renting out your time. You must own equity—a piece of business—to gain your financial freedom.” and "All the returns in life, whether in wealth, relationships, or knowledge, come from compound interest."

Fantastic and well thought out advice and wisdom on life, business, happiness, wealth, time, productivity and well, everything else.

The book is easy to read but I found the format a little off putting in places as it can be a bit repetitive given the fact that snippets on a topic seem to be pulled from different places, meaning there’s some overlap that reads a bit clunkily.
informative fast-paced

I can’t wait to reread it and highlight the shit out of this book. I find highlighting while reading a little distracting and breaks my flow and I can’t soak in the meaning properly. I get so excited by highlighting with different colours.

This book is a summary of great ideas.
While most of the ideas weren't new, I got something out of how the author presented them here.
I've listened to the Audible version, and I was not too fond of how the narrator articulated the quotes. But, of course, this might be my taste.
Overall I thought several times: "This is a great way to put it, very clear!"

I also bought the hardcover version, and I intend to come back to the book and read parts of it when I need a refresher.

I can recommend this book to everyone seeking to improve themselves, especially for people who want to get started with self-improvement.

This is the book of life wisdom! Definitely worth the read. It took years to internalize and understand what he said.
