I have a soft spot for a curmudgeon story. Arthur and his quips were my favorite. He had me giggling throughout the whole book. I enjoyed each character’s growth and that they all ended up where they needed to be!

Personally would have liked to see more story to actively wrap up Slone's conflict, it felt a bit rushed towards the end.
Wonderful story. Fantastic "beginner" book for annotating, I loved marking it up!
