Listening to Gladwell always makes me, well… glad.

Blink brings up some really interesting ideas. My biggest takeaway was the idea that we can hold biases at a subconscious level that can still impact our decisions and the way we treat people.

Some of the concepts he discussed in this book are directly contradicted in his more recent work. It’s great to see how these ideas have evolved over the years.

This was a great book. IT has me thinking about things differently and pausing to imagine things differently.

Provided many interesting perspectives and the power of our subconscious as well as its dangers and how it affects us. Eye opening and humbling!

The conclusion chapter was GOLDEN. I had some issues with previous chapters, yet Blink was overall an engaging and interesting read. Just not my absolute favorite.

The Topic of the book is easy to understand, and generally interesting BUT:

- It drags on for way too long, in my opinion most of those anecdotes could've been left out.
- The parts about autism rub me slightly the wrong way -  it seems very stereotypical and outdated.

I did read normally until up to chapter five, I then started to skip passages that didn't add anything to the premise.
So starting with chapter five I constantly whished he could finally get to the point. I dropped the afterword completely, because it was just another, boringly dragged out example.

Based on this I can not recommend this and would not want to read it again.

It was very interesting but didn't do much other than explain (with about5 too many examples) the "power" of the subconscious. I was hoping it had tips to unlock the subconscious and give me Angelina Jolie-esc powers like in Wanted...

Solid, read for school. The second half was so boring, I really liked the first half.
