Tweede boek in Nova Scotia, aangeraden door Kuus. Licht en zwaar, vol en leeg. Gelezen in de stad. Ik vloogde pagina's. Soms voelde het leeg door de kunstmatige, sprookjesachtige taal die gebruikt werd, maar het verhaal wa gevuld met verschillende soorten vrouwen met ieder hun eigen stuggle voor vrijheid, macht en vriendschap. Dit werd me echter pas laat duidelijk. Ik had gewild dat het boek korter was. En het taalgebruik was simpelweg niet mijn smaak.

i couldnt put it down the story was so intensely gripping! wild, tender, powerful & the sextual tension was through the roof at times!!!
