I was absolutely hooked until the double twist slapped me in the face. Then, I was thinking "ok... Where are we going with this?" When the next twist hit, it lost me a bit. Four stars for the first half. Three stars for the second half.

Ashley Flowers does it again!!! The twist at the end was more than just a twist. This book kept me intrigued and was never dull. I felt like I was solving it with Nic.

Well-written with a few memorable moments. The end fell flat for me with too many forced twists that didn’t feel earned. Definitely a solid read with themes of grief and sacrifice.
